Application Process

Step 1

Check the age requirement at the start of each programme you plan to attend.
 

English Language Requirement - We will assess your level of English proficiency, which you will have an opportunity to demonstrate in an essay and during the interview process, in order to ensure you meet proficiency requirements before you attend a programme.

Academic Potential - your academic achievements, goals and potential will be assessed at the interview to make sure you are a good fit for our programmes.

Step 2

Complete an Oxbridge Summer Scholars application form.

 

All students must submit each item listed below for review:

  • Information about your major and preferred intakes and streams

  • An essay of 150-200 words answering the question: “Oxbridge Summer Scholars delves deeply into sciences, humanities, business, law, arts and humanities with our six streams. What experiences or achievements have motivated you to apply to your chosen stream, and how do you envision this programme aligning with your future career aspirations?”

  • Contact details for a parent or guardian

Step 3

You will be contacted by our Admissions Team via email for an interview. This conversation serves to understand your motivation for joining our programmes and assess your English proficiency. There's no need for extensive preparation — simply be ready to share a bit about yourself and your enthusiasm for being a part of our programmes.

Interview

Step 4

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. In case of a positive decision regarding your application, you will receive an email with the offer to join the specific programme. 

 

To confirm the offer and secure your place in the programme, you will be asked to submit the £1000 deposit within 7 days of receiving the email.

 

You will receive an invoice for the remaining balance of £5,350, which must be paid within 30 days of the deposit payment.
